About Me

Raised with cultural roots and cowboy boots, I grew up between the historic Santa Barbara, California and the Pacific Northwest. I did all of my rehabilitation on the northern shores of the Big Island of Hawai’i.

I was injured in 2012 after falling 30 feet from a tree. I shattered the T4, T11, and T12 vertebrae. My cord was nearly severed apart. I spent 1 month in ICU, another month in rehab, and was released home.

With the help of my teachers, I used the wisdom of warriors and martial medicine to reconstitute my body after spinal cord injury.
